My personal review after reading this book:
An enjoyable romantic experience
I really enjoyed reading this novel. Since I’m usually not drawn to novels of an erotic nature, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Gloria Herrmann managed to downplay the eroticism and basically include it as a way to express the closeness of the relationship between the photographer and the fisherman.
I enjoyed getting to see how the relationship blossomed and flourished, and getting to peek into the lives of her best friends while her life gets turned upside down. Get ready to experience lots of tender moments, fun experiences (I’m a fan of the idea of the week-long challenge), and struggles that come along with settling into a new relationship. I recommend this read to individuals that enjoy romance on the lighter side of eroticism.
